Kennedy Award

I am truly grateful to have been nominated by Mrs. Tangie Woods of Mrs. T’s Corner  for receiving the Kennedy Award of Excellence Award. This is a registered award of excellence for blogs through its writing, presentation and objectives, fosters human values; promoting intellectual, emotional and moral growth of peers.

A three-member committee has chosen the first six blogs for this unique award based on various parameters. As blog owner of “Journey in His Word” at www.journeythroughlifeministries.com. I am thankful to God for this nomination and for giving me the inspiration daily to write this blog.

The committee noted:
The author, Georgetta Head, has been writing publicly since 2007.  Her writings reflect her love for the Lord along with her compassion to see others grow spiritually in the Lord.   She uses blogging and writing online Bible Studies as a vehicle to teach others how to live a life victoriously in Jesus.

When did you start blogging?
Ans:  2019

What is your blogging objective?
Ans:  To teach and inspire others in Christian Lifestyle

What motivated you to start blogging?
Ans:  In 2016 God spoke to me to start using electronic media to plant seeds for His Kingdom.   Not knowing where to start I somewhat procrastinated in that area believing he wanted me to do more in the quarterly newsletters I write and publish.

Do you see blogging as a long-term goal?
Ans:  yes I do!  I really love studying and writing about the Lord’s Word.

Is there a specific topic you enjoying?
Ans:  I love to knit and crochet and then give them away to young mothers.
