I would like to thank my new friend in the Lord of jesusluvsall.wordpress.com for nominating me to the Bee Love Award.

He shares his faith in Jesus, wonderful stories of his students along with his love of serving others. I must also say I enjoy reading his posts on chronic pain, because I too suffer from chronic pain and these posts have encouraged me. Write your definition of true love.

Genuine love is not about the words one may say “I love you,” it’s about love put in action. It’s about a relationship with no strings attached, respecting each other in every situation and forgiving when needed. When I think of genuine love, John 15:16 immediately comes to mind; “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” Jesus chose me! He “chose me” is a powerful statement to me! When I was at my worst, Jesus chose me! I didn’t have to do anything for His love accept receive. Jesus’ love is unconditional, no strings attached just genuine love. Love to me is being “chosen” and “accepted” by Jesus.

When I look at the picture of the Love Bee above, I think of myself as Jesus’ little love bee, making honeycombs of love, to distribute to those He sends me to minister to. So, I believe love is being chosen and accepted with no strings attached.
