Today I would like to discuss a word that is a big problem in every age group, every culture, and worldwide. The word “REJECTION!”
Rejection is not a bad word! It’s a word that is to be used to reject evil and to accept the good in our lives. Unfortunately, the enemy of our soul, satan, turned a good word into a word to produce negative thinking into poor unsuspecting victim’s mind. Rejection when used in the correct context is to be used to reject a product, food or evil that is not appealing or harmful to us.
Father God has given to everyone He created, the gift of decision making. When making decisions, or choosing, we have the right to reject something by saying “no,” or accept something by saying “yes.” God’s gift is to be used in our lives to reject evil and choose good. Unfortunately, many choose to reject the appropriate usage of the word “rejection,” which causes unnecessary harm to others.
Did you know that when Jesus Christ walked on the earth, He was rejected by many? But, He didn’t let man’s confused minds stop Him from accomplishing what He came to do! He also didn’t allow men’s distorted thinking cause Him to lose His self-worth. Jesus knew who He was and who he belonged to! We too need to know who we are and who we belong to. The Bible says all “souls” belong to God, but not all souls will accept Him as their Father, so for the next few weeks we are going to study chapters 1 and 2 of the Book of Ephesians to know who we belong to and why we need to stop listening to satan who is using people’s mouths to kill our self-worth.
Ephesians 1:3-5
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will”
Facts:
1. Jesus was the Son of God and throughout Matthew, Luke, Mark, and John, He confirmed His relationship with God as His Father, as we just read here in Ephesians 1:3.
2. God has blessed every Believer with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, which means Christ came from heaven to earth from the Father to bring us every blessing we need. Four of these blessings are 1) we are chosen of God; 2) holy; 3) without blame before God; and 4 ) we have been adopted into God’s family.
Friends, Father God has chosen you and me and “whosoever” will believe in His Son Jesus Christ as their Savior as His children. We God looks at us, He sees holy and blameless children in Christ. We are the sons and daughter of God Almighty. We are not rejected! We are chosen and loved! We are royal! People who reject you or any Believer is rejecting Jesus Christ. Don’t allow satan to use someone’s mouth or attitude to destroy your self-worth. You are precious, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Father God has great plans for your life.
As children of God we have authority over satan by speaking words of life over ourself and troublesome situations. Jesus death and Resurrection gives us these blessings plus many more.
Did you know the Bible says we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus? We have great power! Speak God’s Word and the devil will run from you, he can’t stand to hear God’s Word. So, when someone rejects you, they are envious of Jesus Christ who dwells in your heart, they are rejecting Jesus Christ not you! Stand tall knowing you belong to God Almighty who is your Heavenly Father. So, enjoy your journey knowing you are CHOSEN and LOVED.

Thanks Georgetta for the reminder that we are chosen and loved. It hurts when people reject us, but I’m so thankful Jesus accepts us regardless of who rejects us. 💗

🥰You are so welcome. I suffered the pains of rejection as a teenager and sometimes now that ugly monster tries to rear its head up again.

Yes, we must always be on guard for rejection to try and rear up again.
But, rejection is always a lie. The truth is that we are the Lord’s beloved. 🤗
