I have a secret stairway
That means so much to me,
For always at the head of it
Jesus waits for me.
No matter what the day brings,
I know that He will share
My burdens or my blessings,
For He is always there.
‘Tis wonderful, this stairway,
Refreshing as the dew,
For when I’d be discouraged,
My spirit He renews.
This stairway can belong to you,
Just as it does to me,
Make room for it within your heart
And then His face you’ll see.
