I was hosting a Women’s Meeting a few months ago when a question was asked “if God loves everyone, does that mean everyone will go to heaven, even those with ungodly lifestyles?” This question couldn’t be answered with a simple “yes” or “no,” and from articles I have read in the past year, a more detailed answer was needed. I explained to the group of Women, “yes” God loves everyone, but “no” not everyone will go to heaven, many will chose hell for eternity. Also, with God sin is sin! All acts of sin is evil in God’s eyes and sin separates us from Him.
God created man with volition, which is the ability to choose. I continued by explaining that God allows mankind to decide where they want to spend eternity. Mankind has a choice between heaven or hell! It is an individual decision we must all make. God has given us what we need to make the right choice but He will not force our decision-making.

There is no sin that God will not forgive. Every act of sin such as, lying, adultery, sexually acts, murder, robbery, homosexuality, addictions, etc., is evil to God, but with a repentant heart of confession God will forgive those sins.
When Adam disobeyed God’s commandment, he brought the bondage of sin into the world, in which many are still caught in that trap. Because God loves His creation (mankind), He made a way possible for all to make the right choice of choosing heaven instead of hell. We are told in John 3:16-17 “for God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus), that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.”
Jesus came to earth to die for the sins of the world, yours and mind included so that we can have a choice of salvation from our sins. By accepting the gift of life which Jesus offers through His death and resurrection on the Cross we can have heaven as our home for eternity. Romans 10:9 states we must “confess” with our mouth the Lord Jesus and “believe” in our heart that Jesus died for our sins and that God raised Him from the dead, then our confession of faith is the choice by which we are saved for eternity. Forgiveness of our sins is only through a repentant heart and confession of Jesus as our Savior.

God’s promise of salvation is a “free gift” to all that confess and believe in Jesus; and 2 Peter 3:9 states “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
Friends, if you are not sure where you will spend eternity, you can make the choice today by confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and believe in your heart that Jesus died for every sin you ever committed and that God raised Jesus from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of Him, Father God. John 8:24 states that if we don’t accept Jesus, we will die in our sins and spend eternity in hell. Don’t wait to make this decision, for we are not promised tomorrow.
