The WORD is Life

To have life, we must have the WORD!  The WORD of God “must” be dined upon daily.  Without the WORD to sustain us we will quickly die of spiritual malnutrition.

The Word is our hope, without the WORD we will hopelessly die!

The WORD has transformation power!  Power to change the worst in anyone!

The WORD cleanses us from the deeds of the past giving us hope for the future.

The WORD teaches us who we are and sets us free from condemnation.

The WORD sets us free and teaches us freedom from the bondage of sin.

The WORD teaches us how to get our feet off the wide road of destruction and how to get onto the safety of the narrow road of life.

The WORD teaches us how to live – “Be Holy as God is Holy!”

The WORD gives us a great demonstration of living a Holy lifestyle through the example of Jesus Christ.

The WORD teaches salvation for eternity, which is through the WORD only!

Do you have the WORD dwelling in you?  So, you ask, “who or what is the WORD?”  The WORD is Jesus.  Holy Spirit writes of Jesus, which is the WORD, in the Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation.  The Bible is a “love story” about a King (Jesus) and His Kingdom.  It’s about King Jesus coming to earth to die a sacrificial sinless death on a Cross to atone for the sins of the world (John 3:16-17).

Jesus loves mankind and wants us to spend eternity with Him, so if you don’t know Jesus as your Savior Romans 10:8-11 gives us the answer: “But what saith it? The WORD is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the WORD of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”

Friends, if you don’t know Jesus as your Savior, it is not too late.  Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart and you will spend eternity with Jesus.
