An “Everlasting” Love

Relationships are great! Isn’t it a wonderful feeling being connected to another human being that makes you feel significant?  The first thought that comes to mind while in a relationship is how good it feels belonging and being a part of another’s life.  But relationships are only great if it works with two people striving for the same goal – love everlasting!

In today’s world people don’t want to make the sacrifices necessary for their relationship to thrive.  It’s a lot easier to give up and blame one another for what they call a “failed” relationship than to work together through the tough times.

But guess what, there is a relationship that promises love everlasting; a relationship where you will never feel lonely or forsaken; a relationship where you will be provided for; your battles will be fought for you; you will be loved; know that you are important, significant, and secure.  The partner in this relationship promises to help you repair already broken relationships and to introduce you to new relationships with individuals whose goals and aspirations are similar to yours.  Who am I talking about?  GOD – our Heavenly Father!

Our Heavenly Father longs to have a relationship with you.  Just you and Him!  You are very important to Him and He’s concerned about your every need.  He will be there to support you and help you get through “all” life issues and ups and downs in life; and to help you make the right choices in every day issues.

Having a relationship with Father God is easy and so wonderful!  He listens to you when you talk to Him and He responds to you by telling you secrets that only you and He will share.  He will also direct you when you ask Him for guidance and direction.  Are you having problems in your marriage; problems on the job; just got laid off; children are rebellious?  God has the answers for you!  Father God doesn’t want you living a defeated life.  He created you to live a free, victorious life.  A life filled with hopes and dreams!  Are you building your hopes and dreams with the “wrong” relationships?  Seek Father God!  He is in the healing and restoration business. 

As you grow in your relationship with the Father you will come to realize and understand the everlasting love He has just for you.  He will clothe you in His love which is comforting and reassuring; a love that will help you get through those tough times in life.  And, while you are developing your relationship with the Father, He will teach you how to have meaningful relationships with others that will continue to help you grow in your relationship with Him.

Father God will teach you and your spouse how to love one another.  Let Him show you how to handle your rebellious children by using Godly principles.  In this relationship He will teach you how to cope after losing your job, etc.  Friends, Father God can open doors for you that “no” man can open.  Proverbs 3:4-6 says, “and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”  Allow Him to open those closed doors in all areas of your life.

And finally read the scripture found in Jeremiah 33:3, “call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”  So, I challenge you today, call upon the Father and enjoy the start of an everlasting relationship in which He will teach you great and mighty things.  And, remember “He will never leave you nor forsake you.
